How to give your wardrobe a second life
Wondering where to begin with creating your capsule wardrobe, we’ve crested some simple steps to help you begin the process and to cleanse your wardrobe ready for a sustainable wardrobe.
Follow these steps and share how you get on!
Rent
The rental market has grown greatly over the last few years with different models ranging from peer to peer and from brand to consumer. It is a great way of making the most of special occasion wear pieces that hold memories so we don’t want to sell but sadly aren’t getting much wear. There are a range of platforms where you can list your pieces and then manage your rental directly with other lenders; many sites also give the option to sell your pieces so it is a great place to combine and see if interest is there for your pieces. Below are some of my favourite platforms I use:
Hurr

Loanhood

Recycle
Recycling your clothes is not only a sustainable and eco-friendly choice, but also an opportunity to reinvent your wardrobe. By recycling, you extend the lifecycle of your garments, reducing waste and carbon emissions. By donating your unwanted clothes, you can support charitable organisations. Your once beloved pieces can make a significant impact in someone else's life and give them a fresh start.

Sell
For items which are good condition and are no longer being worn, it is quick and easy to sell your pieces on and there are a variety of platforms to do so. Please be aware that most platforms will take a small fee but in general it is relatively small.
